With a view to strengthening partnerships and cooperation between humanitarian actors from the global North and South and sharing effective humanitarian practices and responses affecting local, national and international NGOs.

The Orphan Care Federation participated as one of the supporting partners of the Humanitarian Forum Conference, which lasted for two days, 15-16 October 2019. The conference was an opportunity to meet and network with experts within the humanitarian sector. Several “Dignity Day” sessions were organized on localization, resilience and management Conflicts and the management of finance, which resulted in many recommendations that were reviewed in the closing session. In which many human heroes were also honored.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Union had a special introductory pavilion, during which the most important work and activities of the Union were presented. It also launched for the first time the field research report “The Situation of Syrian Refugees in Turkey,” in addition to the training manuals within the series of knowledge guides for working with orphans, which it has been working on for two years, as it was announced in it. About the scientific conference to be held in Istanbul November 2020.

In turn, the federation's staff contributed, like participating in logistical assistance during the conference, in accordance with the signing of a previous memorandum of understanding that leads to several training workshops before and after the conference and contribute to the success of this conference.
