The United Nations designated a World Day of Peace with the aim of promoting the ideals of peace among nations and peoples.
The right to peace.. A slogan through which the United Nations wanted to strengthen this initiative and provide ways to achieve justice and peace for all and build comprehensive and responsible institutions.
This day is considered as a demonstration and a platform for the pioneers of peace to rise and have their say on it, and the nations have developed a peace plan until 2030 AD to promote the ideals.
Achieving peace is among the seventeen sustainable development goals adopted by the United Nations. In 2001, the United Nations
General Assembly voted unanimously to recognize September 21 as an occasion to restore peace, refrain from violence and stop hostilities.
Let us all strive to have a hand in establishing peace and to redouble our efforts as organizations and institutions in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development and to make a mark and defend human rights to bring peace to the whole world.
