As part of the "Our Orphans: A Covenant and a Charter" Forum and Exhibition, a scientific session titled:
"Orphanhood Between Real Challenges and Civilizational Aspirations: Horizons of Impact and Sustainability"
was held with the participation of Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Awadi, Dr. Salman Al-Lafi, Dr. Hayatullah Atid, and moderated by Mr. Mohammed Salah, on December 15, 2024, in Kuwait.

The session addressed challenges and sustainable solutions in orphan care through the following key points:

  1. From traditional sponsorship to civilizational sponsorship.

  2. The issue of the legal age of orphans and how to develop the concept to achieve institutional innovation, ensure sustainability, preserve human investment, and guarantee its returns.

  3. Raising sponsors' awareness of the importance of sustainable sponsorship to build a civilized individual who continues the cycle and brings returns both in this world and the hereafter.

  4. The responsibility of society and the state towards orphans and the importance of nurturing talented individuals among them.

  5. "Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Achievement: Measuring Impact" – with a presentation by the former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Kuwait.
