Semi-Annual Report 2023

A series of achievements, programs and activities carried out by the Federation during the past half year.

 


 

1. Workshop on "Repercussions of the Earthquake Disaster and its Impact on Orphans and Their Families"

The Federation held an online workshop after the catastrophe of the earthquake that struck Turkiye and Syria, claiming tens of thousands of lives, and the impact it had on orphans and their families, and the great role of workers in orphanages and shelters. It was presented by Dr. Othman Al-Asfoor and was attended by 230 people from 61 countries from 200 organizations and destinations around the world.

2. Participation with a Scientific Paper in the Education Conference - Kuwait

The Federation participated with a scientific paper entitled "Towards a Better Future for Orphans" in the Education Conference that was held in the State of Kuwait in the presence of representatives and experts from several countries. The paper was admired by the attendees and participants.

3. Orphan Day event in the Islamic world - Istanbul

We put in your hands a report of the event of Orphan's Day in the Islamic World, 15 Ramadan / 6 April, that was held in Istanbul in the presence of orphans, their mothers, humanitarian organizations, members of OCF and guests from the State of Kuwait.

4. Quality Projects Serving the orphan care sector

With the beginning of the year 2023, the federation put forward, during its annual plan, many model projects that it will work on during the year, and directly serve the orphan and geriatric care sector with orphans in humanitarian organizations, and contribute significantly to raising the standard of providing services provided to orphans and their families.
 

        

 


 

5. Delegations and individuals from around the world visited the federation

Many delegations and workers in the humanitarian sector from the State of Kuwait, America and Saudi Arabia visited Orphans Care Federationfrom.
