The Union of Orphans Care, represented by the Secretary-General of the Union, Sheikh Salah Al-Jarallah, and the Executive Director, Mr. Fadi Iskandarani, participated in the World Conference on Orphans Care in Bahrain. The Secretary-General had participated in the conference within the advisory committee.
Professor Fadi presented a scientific paper entitled “The Relationship Between Humanitarian Care Programs for Orphans and His Family and Development Programs in Protracted Crises” during the conference activities. Sheikh Salah and Professor Fadi were honored with the Humanitarian Efficiency Award for their scientific and professional efforts in the fields of humanitarian work. At the end of the conference, the Union, its objectives and services were introduced through networking meetings with heads and representatives of international humanitarian organizations present at the conference.
