A series of psychological support training was provided as part of a “relief and safety campaign” by experts from the Tarahom volunteer team inside Syria. The series was able to bring about a lasting change in the lives of 29 people, including supervisors and workers with orphans and their families in the areas affected by the earthquake, from 14 institutions specialized in the orphan care sector.
The series was held over the course of 3 days via the Zoom platform, in which Dr. Haifa Khanfar, Dr. Muhannad Al-Eidan, and Professor Aisha Al-Basri presented numerous highly important and necessary topics to develop workers’ skills and enrich their experiences in the field of psychological and social support, especially in light of the psychological and health suffering of orphans after the earthquake.
