Every road tells a story, and this time, our story comes from Kuwait, the land of generosity and a hub of humanitarian work. Under the gracious patronage of the Ministry of Social and Family Affairs, and in strategic partnership with the Union of Kuwaiti Charitable Societies and Foundations, we stood in unified solidarity with the orphans of the Arab and Islamic world on December 16, 2024, at the “Our Orphans A Covenant and a Pledge” Forum, attended by 300 figures from the orphan care sector across 16 countries.

We gathered to launch a new promise, an unbreakable pledge, to unite forty million orphans under a unified global covenant for orphan care.

During the forum, participants pledged to align their efforts toward comprehensive orphan care by launching and signing the Global Covenant for Orphan Care, and the Siraj Endowment Project was presented as a global platform dedicated to developing the orphan care sector.

Our story is long, filled with challenges and milestones, but through determination and solidarity, and by following the advice of our noble Prophet Mohammad Peace and blessings be upon him: “I and the one who cares for an orphan will be in Paradise like this”, the hardships are eased, and the distances are shortened, bringing us closer to realizing the dream of dignified and comprehensive orphan care.
