The Secretary-General of the Union Salah Al-Jarallah and the Executive Director visited the United Kingdom to hold several meetings between 17-20 March 2019, the first of which was a meeting with Dr. Stuart Gordon, “Director of the International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies Program at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), to discuss frameworks Cooperation and coordination between the Federation and the University, and as a result, the University has agreed to be part of the jury, free of charge, for the research that will be presented within the scientific conference for orphan care that will be held by the Federation during the coming period. Dr. Stewart also agreed to participate in the Silk Road trips to be held in Bosnia and Britain, provided It is allowed to hold joint workshops between the union and the postgraduate students at the university.
Similar to the visit, HE the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Mr. Khaled Al-Duwaisan, visited Britain.
The visit also concluded with a meeting with Mr. Fadi Itani, Executive Director of the Humanitarian Forum - Britain, and Mrs. Hana Al-Banna - Director of International Relations at Globe One.
