In a qualitative humanitarian step to value the charitable and humanitarian efforts of the State of Kuwait in the world, the “Human Friendship Ceremony (Britain- Kuwait )” was held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in London. Organized by the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Britain, represented by His Excellency the Ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps/ Khaled Al-Duwaisan and the First Secretary at the Embassy, His Excellency Badr Al-Adwani, in cooperation with the British House of Lords, and under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Lord Sheikh, member of the British House of Lords, and His Excellency Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan for Ruling Family Affairs. In the presence of more than 132 distinguished personalities, including ambassadors of major countries, members of the British Parliament and the House of Lords.
21 prominent and influential Kuwaiti humanitarian figures in humanitarian charitable work were honored. The Secretary-General of the Orphan Care Union, Mr. Salah Ahmed Al-Jarallah, was honored to be one of these figures.
