In the presence of more than 150 organizations spread in more than 60 countries and under the slogan “The Islamic World Meets”
the Orphan Care Union, represented by its Secretary General, Mr. Salah Al-Jarallah, and the Executive Office team of employees and volunteers participated in the second international exhibition held by the Federation of NGOs in the Islamic World over a period of two days

December 9 and 10, 2017, in Istanbul.

The exhibition was opened with several words by official bodies and prominent figures in humanitarian charitable work, during which Mr. Ali Kurt, Secretary-General of the Federation of NGOs in the Islamic World welcomed the attendees and stressed, through his speech, that the purpose of holding this exhibition was an opportunity to gather all charitable institutions to unite their efforts and exchange their experiences to serve humanitarian work. The slogan “The Islamic world gathers” and then invited the audience to visit the pavilions of the institutions participating in the exhibition, and the Secretary-General of the Union, Mr. Salah Al-Jarallah, presented a shield of honor to Professor Ali Kurt for his efforts to serve global humanitarian charitable work.

After the inaugural session, the attendees toured the participating organizations in the exhibition and got to know them.
It is worth mentioning that during its participation in the exhibition, the union launched seven qualitative and distinctive projects that everyone expressed their interest and admiration for during their visit.

In the context of networking, cooperation and building partnerships, Al-Jarallah, the Training Director and the Public Relations Department team in the Union made a series of visits to Turkish, Arab and international charitable institutions, in addition to the member associations participating in the exhibition to get to know them and introduce them to the Union and its projects, showing them that the Union always seeks to spread its message of building partnerships and networking. With charitable organizations and research institutions.

Among the most prominent personalities who visited the federation’s pavilion, His Excellency the Kuwaiti Consul in Istanbul Muhammad Fahd Al-Mohammed, where Mr. Salah Al-Jarallah welcomed his visit and briefed him on the new federation projects. His Excellency thanked the federation for the efforts made and expressed his admiration for the pavilion and the qualitative projects that he was briefed on. In the same context, Mr. Ali visited Kurt, Secretary-General of the Union of NGOs, in addition to the head of the Turkish Organizations Endowment and the diplomatic attaché at the Kuwaiti Consulate in Istanbul, Mr. Walid Al-Manes, the federation’s pavilion, and they expressed their admiration for the work of the Federation and praised the effort made to make the exhibition a success, followed by the visit of Ms. Fatima Benli, Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee for Human Rights and Deputy of the Justice and Development Party In Istanbul, the Union team briefed her on the Union's projects and scopes of work, in addition to many of the Union's member organizations and Arab and international institutions.

At the end of the exhibition, Al-Jarallah said, “The exhibition is in fact more than wonderful, and we rejoice in these good efforts that sought to unite everyone. We thank the government and people of Turkey for their interest and the opportunity to hold such events on their land and among them.” He also sent a letter of thanks to the Union team that worked hard and sincerely for the success of their participation. within the exhibition.
