Humanitarian and charitable institutions continued to hold collective iftars in this blessed month of Ramadan with the aim of networking and building relationships, and the Union had a share in many of them by accepting the invitation and attending it on behalf of the members of the Union, including:
- The Turkish Green Crescent Foundation invites humanitarian charities for a group Iftar in Istanbul:
The Orphan Care Union attended a collective iftar at the headquarters of the Turkish Green Crescent Organization in Istanbul for humanitarian charitable organizations, which was set up by the Green Crescent Foundation in coordination with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, on 18 Ramadan 1438 AH corresponding to June 13, 2017, AD. Working in Syrian affairs and the Green Crescent Foundation in its fields of work.
- More than 40 charitable institutions and organizations at the Iftar of the Turkish Ministry of Education in Istanbul:
At the invitation of the Turkish Directorate of Education, the Orphans Care Union attended an Iftar for humanitarian and charitable organizations in Istanbul on 26 Ramadan 1438 AH corresponding to June 21, 2017, AD. He accepted the invitation, and during his speech, he praised the efforts made in humanitarian work and presented the ministry's plan for the next year. He reported the statistics and numbers of Syrian refugee students in Turkish cities, who number approximately 800,000 Syrian children, and stressed the need for cooperation and coordination to secure the enrollment of all school-age children to enroll in Turkish schools. Then the suggestions and recommendations of the audience were listened to.
On the sidelines of the invitation, an individual session was held between Mr. Alireza Altunal and the Executive Director of the Federation, Mr. Fadi Iskandarani, to introduce the Federation and its institutions, and a later date was arranged between the Continuing Education Department in the Ministry and the Federation to discuss the possibilities of the Federation and its members to contribute to the implementation and success of the Education Directorate plan in Turkey.
